Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Seismo — Vibration Meter & Analyzer (the “App”) handles your information. The short version: Seismo does not collect your data. Everything the App measures and saves stays on your device.

The short version

• We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
• The App makes no network calls and works fully offline.
• Vibration and motion data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it.
• Anything you save is stored locally on your device and you can delete it at any time.

Our App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”

Motion sensor data

Seismo’s core function is to measure mechanical vibration using your iPhone’s built-in motion sensors (the CoreMotion accelerometer and gyroscope). To do this, iOS asks for your permission via the standard Motion & Fitness prompt.

• Motion sensor readings are used only in real time, on your device, to draw the waveform, compute the frequency spectrum (FFT), determine dominant frequency / RPM, calculate severity, and produce a diagnosis.
• These readings are not sent anywhere, not uploaded, and not associated with your identity.
• If you decline motion access, the App simply cannot measure vibration; no other feature is affected, and nothing is collected.

You can change motion access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness, or Settings → Seismo.

Data you create and save

When you save a measurement or create a machine record, that data — readings, notes, timestamps, trend history — is stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. We never receive a copy.
